Spektrum adapter instead of receiver + patch cables?
Now I've another inquiry: is it possible to substitute the physical receiver when on ver 1.8+ in place of simply a Spektrum satellite that has been pre-bound (binded) to my transmitter via AR7000 or similar? I am a little confused after what I've read, as nothing explicitly states this, yet in the interest of saving weight and wiring complexity it would seem desirable to do this.
It looks like all I need to do solder pin 19 to the grey cable, Ground to black, and 3.3V to orange and then uncomment the //#define Spektrum in the config.h or is there some intermediate bit of hardware that needs to go between the two elements? Thanks again! |

ser 2 connector
hye all,
I want ot connect a remzibi poor gps(gnd-black,5v-red,tx-white,rx-blue) trough the "ser" little white connector on a flyduino board. I've bought the specific wire @ flyduino.com. And now I would like to know the connecting diagram of this connector. I've found the following with a multimeter from TX1/Rx1/5v/gnd connector (up) to rc receiver pins(down) "ascii" schematic: TX1/RX1/5v/gnd pin6: Ground pin5: 5v pin4: TX pin3: RX pin2: gnd pin1: unknow xck? rc pin reciver is it correct ? |

I will include the info when re-writing the setup instructions (How-to guide). By the way: you can mount any sensor to the board since it gives you plenty of possibilities ... aBUGSworstnightmare |

Paul has a nice new board which perfectly suits the spider (lol) and Alex/Danal have the Spektrum code (http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...1504116&page=5) running. --> everything is there for an all-in-one flight controller + satellite receiver (making it even simpler than http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/attac...mentid=4338468). Joerg, I know. I have already seen the prototype some time ago. Will try your board on my next quad. Paul just sent me a set of 12" props, so I need to build a quad that's big enough to test them.
![]() I already downloaded the Spektrum version but didn't try it yet. Instead of soldering a VC to the power line of the Spektrum satellite, I thought about using the 3V3 from the board. However, the possibility of using Spektrum satellites is great. No more standard receivers with all their wiring.

![]() But you're right: It's a SHE because HE's got more power.
