And here's that copy of a Yak 54 that I milled out a lotta foam , put the smallish motor on it and kept it to 9 oz AUW flying at the AMA show on a dying battery . When Mike saw this he laughed and showed me some light weight stuff he's working on ... He knows lighter is better

maiden my 48" juka on Saturday.it instantly went to the top of the list of my foamies.this plane is simply awesome.set it up with an omega 72,40a cc esc,and nano-tech 1600 battery.its auw came in just under 25.5 oz.it hovers at 1/2 throttle.
instead of using blenderm tape,i hinged all surfaces.when I first set it up it had almost 90* throw on the ailerons. this is my 6th dw plane .thanks to Mike for designing such great planes. |
