Cannon G-Mark .03 r/c

Digging in my hobby stuff while searching something else I found my old Cannon G-Mark .03 r/c which sat unused for awhile. Flew it last in a 24" stick(now electric!)but remember it fondly. It run fine on Cox props(.020 size),very quiet and trottle very well but I only have two glow plug left for it so thats why I didn't use it lately

Is it perhaps? possible to drill / tap.. an old/dead go head for a standard (or turbo) Plug?
A non used engine is just a paperweight IMO :-)

There was an out fit in Western Australia making heads for this engine... Are they still doing so?

The original head is too small for a decent setup with glow plug. I've made a head for a turbo plug, but have not tried it yet.

There is an old post on here somewhere about this subject,I started it.(also on rcu)
I ghad Bob@flyfreeflight.com do a burnt stock glowhead conversion on my 03r/c,works great btw, performance gains too.
He converted the stock G-mark glowhead to use a globee style flatcoil glowplug.

You need to get that thing flying. There is nothing sadder than a motor locked away for either looking or fear that you won't be able to get parts for it someday.
