The Mig-29 is probably not the easiest to fly.
Sure, it floats well once you set it up and have the elevator reflex correctly, but i think it's the easiest to botch a launch with the Mig-29. Especially so if you are running on 2S and don't have the power to pull away from a bad situation. I had the least problems setting up my F-18. I heard good things about the T-45 too, but have not gone round to fixing mine. |

I think HK's little 2.2g servos are just as good as the 2.5g servos, though work best at 4.2V - not 5.0V. That extra 0.8V does make a difference.

Hi guys,
this is my first post. Before I was only a reader . My name is Michael and I'm from Germany so please forgive me any mistakes. English is not as easy to write for me as german ![]() I've bought one of these nice little edf jets at hobbyking. It's the red arrows hawk. I saw a hole in both wings an under the cockpit. I think it's to attach a landing gear . But there was no landing gear in the box. Does anyone know where I can buy the associated gear? If there is no possiility to buy it do you think the gear of the Ultra Micro Series from Parkzone is strong enough? I absolutely want to try the little bird with a gear.... ![]() Regards from germany and again sorry for the bad english, Michael |

Michael,
Your English is not very bad at all. My German would be terrible. My Grandmother spoke German but I never learned it. ![]() The parkzone gear might work, but I am guessing the wire size would be different. Sky Angel is all metric, and since Germany uses metric you could find suitable wire in your Country. The wire bends easy with simple hand tools and shouldn't take long to adapt. Good luck and welcome to posting instead of just reading! Fred

Good morning (Morning in Germany
),thanks for your answers. I'm going to search some spare parts suitabe for the nanos. Maybe I can buy the landing gear which Joe has on his Mig-29 / A-10. @Joe 1320 do you know if the gear is purchasable anywhere? If I can't buy it I will follow your advices and try to make a gear on my own. Oh @Freddie, tell your grandma "Viele Grüße aus Deutschland" ![]() Regards, Michael |
