Hi guys! (Ögals, maybe?)
This is my first post so I guess a big thank you is in order for all the help over the past few months (years really, but I wonít admit that) while I have been reading, learning, and building. So I finally got a quadcopter built and flying thanks to all the wisdom and insight from this group. Thank you.
The purpose of my post (other than to say hi) is that Iím stumped on how to obtain altitude telemetry on my DX8 TX.
I have a Spektrum DX8 TX and an AR8000 RX in a custom frame quadcopter. The receiver is connected to a Naza-M v2 MC with a GPS / Compass Module. Also have a Naza PMU and external LED. Also connected is a TM1000. The TM1000 is connected to the RX via the data plug and then I also have the battery connected to the TM1000 I get telemetry on my on-board battery. The telemetry is working because I can scroll through the screens on the TX and I see the voltage for the battery. What Iím stumped on is what component I need to give me altitude telemetry on the TX. I thought the Naza had a built-in barometer or something like that but Iím not sure how to get that info to the telemetry module. Or do I need a separate altitude module that I then plug in to the TM1000 input port??
Thanks again for all the help folks!
