Totally incorrect. Look at the photos. Those are molded all at once. Prop failure can be caused by over-tightening the screws, and that is true on ANY aircraft and almost any prop design, even wood props.
They went with that stupid design because they aren't catering to people who know what we are doing. That design is somewhat more "idiot proof" than other prop designs. It is not a good design, but it's all one piece. You can see the problem with the old "A" props in the photos. It just wasn't thick enough.
