An Endoplasma in the SR X250
Is it possible "power wise" to stick an Endoplasma motor in the SR's X250 with a suitable battery (say a CP1300) to get better performance (with a prop about 9 x 6)??? The motor I imagine would have to be held down with plastic straps or similar.
PS: I know that a better solution would be to put a brushless motor or a cobolt (or similar) in the X250 (or even just a sp480 with matching gear box), BUT this is just a curiosity question. A what if and if anybody has by chance tried it.

The Endo is not suitable for direct drive except on a pylon model or similar. The Magnetic Mayhem works OK - Ken Myers did it in a Cutie - http://members.aol.com/kmyerspsion/cutie/cutie.htm
He also runs a Trubo 450 in his X250 - I like this combo also - http://members.aol.com/kmyersefo/x250.htm
I am running similarly powered brushless motors - Kontronik 400/22 and 400/23 in my X250 and Cutie. I have a Phasor 15/4 or the X250 also - I like this because I can swing a 9" prop on 8 (CP1300) cells, although I think the Aeronaut 8.5x5 is the best choice overall.. unlimited vertical from a 3-4' takeoff roll! Search for the thread "Brushless X250" here a while ago..
