I haven't started it yet, but I have an 1800mm Graupner Sea Fury that I plan to run a Himark 6332 (Kv=260) on 10 or 12S 5000, so around 17" on 10S to 15 or 16" on 12S. Probably end up about 7 - 7.5kg

I ran the motor a while back in a slightly smaller Corsair around 10lb (might have been heavier) on 10S with a 15 x 10, which was better than a NGH Gt-17 gas.

BH Seafury 20cc electric conversion

I used the following to convert my Seafury 20 cc:

Turnigy 5065 350 kv motor
16x12E 2 bladed prop ( APC)
6 cell 5000 30 c Zippy Lipo
Large electric retracts with metal trunions ( Phillips workshop or HK)
80 A turnigy plus ESC

I had to add about 600g of lead in the nose to get the correct CG.
Total weight with the extra Rx battery came to 5.2kg.
The prop gave about 820 Watt at 41A

With maiden flight the plane took off well but I had to dial some right trim in and a click down trim to fly straight and level. The Seafury was moderate fast but flew well. For landing it came in quite fast and I went around again and used full down flaps which were very effective in landing the plane at a slower speed. Some up elevator was needed to lift the nose a bit up with landings. One of my last landings was a bit too fast and the main landing gear bent a bit backwards. I used the oleos and pins that came with the kit. The 5 mm pins which fitted nice and tight into the metal trunions of the retracts were a bit soft and tends to bend with a hard landing. I replaced them now with stronger pins. The metal trunions on the retracts are quite strong and manage to keep the oleos tight. The 6 cell pack gave me about 6 minutes flying time.

This is a good looking plane in the air and flies very scale like.
