The guys at spadworld.net that have the contact info for the spadtothebone.com site owner have sent the info to him. not sure if a reply has been received.

the last few times this happened, a few people made copies of the spadtothebone.com site after it came back up. Also there is a PDF floating around with all the plans from the site in it. so all is not lost.

In case you missed it Sleepwalker, I posted some additional links here: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showp...34&postcount=2

You can find most of the original plans on those sites in places if you're looking for one in particular. Also, if you have not seen the build videos posted by Andy Erwin, check out Draftman3 on YouTube.

I have a mirror up at http://frostracing.com/spadtothebone from a wget archive attempt on www.spadtothebone.com a year or so ago. Some pages and images are missing in the plans area, but there is a new zip file on the "Zip format" page that includes PDF files for all plane plans. I am hoping to restore all pages/images by checking various internet archive sites.

I am still working on fixing some of the links to work on the mirror, so the drop down menus don't always work - go to the SPAD Index page instead.

I was hoping so badly that someone would have a mirror as I've not been able to find much info outside of STTB and I'm just getting started. Thank you for doing that!!! I can now get some info on the SPA3D/T.

I now have links to individual PDF plan files on the free plans index page here:

http://frostracing.com/spadtothebone/SPAD

I am sure glad Frank made the PDF files - All the text on the HTML plan pages and the images are included for each plane in the PDF file.

The following plan pages are verified to be restored at the http://frostracing.com/spadtothebone mirror.

buhor25
debonair
getsome
PBF
Twin DPS

I am currently working on the SpadExtra pages now. All the html pages are there, but some images are not.

Other plan pages may be working, but I have not verified them.

The new STTB site names to use now are www.spadtothebone.net and www.spadtothebone.org. The SPAD community just got news this morning that the owner of the www.spadtothebone.com site passed away last August. We will not be bugging his widow about the www.spadtothebone.com site.

I have uploaded the current files to the http://www.spadtothebone.net site registered by the http://www.spadworld.net owner, Chris. The recovery so far has been a combination of the copy of the spadtothebone.com that I made last summer, images I was missing using the SpadPDF.zip file created by FrankC29, and getting the remaining files I was missing from www.archive.org using the warrick application. I am still working to complete the recovery of the missing pages.
