New ERJ-170

Hi everyone im new to posting on this forum and after seeing lots of airliner builds i have got the craze so i have decided to make a ERJ-170 this will be my first EDF i ordered the foam so im looking for any advice on this build any would be helpfull when i get started i will post pics thanks

I have 3 view drawings so i wont hav prob building i think i will have the most problems attahing the wings and designing that im going to build out of depron but also may do some wing sheeting

Does your 3-view have the bulkheads needed and airfoils and other aspects? Or are you gonna "do it as you go"? Hopefully it's more detailed than this one.

No i have hand drawn all bulkheads and hand drawn all spars its about the same 3 view e170. Im going to give it a try if it works ill keep all drawings of bulkheads and all and post them here

here is the left wing now im on hold for the hinges and foam then the fun since it is such a small model i will have to run the airleron control wire to middle of fuse and put servo in middle of wings

it is 34 in wing span 36 in lenth it is 1/32 scale if this works i wanna create a whole 1/32 airliner fleet edf but this is my first EDF so we will see heck its my first electric i have been flying gas forever

not a bad size, but if it were me, I'de go bigger, especially cause you are going EDF. 80-100 Watts per pound would most likely fly it very well. see how that equates to what you have already.

thanks for that info i had no clue that was a good conversion since i am building the engine nacelle to scale the motors im using at that conversion says total weight should be no more than 13 lbs

13 lbs? you better be a he$$ of a lot lighter than that. LOL. what size EDF's are you using..................64mm?

no i was looking at static thrust i have to be under 10 lbs with the biggest motor on the 56mm im going with but the stock motor on the fan will need to be un 4.5 lbs i think i should have that covered
