Help, Somebody - J-3 Cub
I bought my very first J-3 Cub a couple of months ago, and all it does on ground take-offs is fly around in LEFT circles on the ground!
After numerous frustrating ground control practices, I set the base trim to the extreme right to start with, and even gave full right rudder before throttling, to try and compensate for the Cub's desire to go around in left full circles!
She just LOVES to spin around in LEFT circles.
Please can some kind soul tell me what I'm doing wrong?
I'm afraid to hand-launch it because I think it'll go spinning away to the left in the air!
Thanks and Regards

Have you checked the wheels are straight on the plane? Also when you look at the plane you want it so the rudder is perfectly straight. If it isnt those 2 things check the propellor is facing directly forward. Then i would check to see if the wings are on straight and level. Dan

Absolutely great suggestions. This problem is not serious...you were very wise to try and resolve it before you went airborne though. If these don't fix it...we will get to the bottom of it. Let us know if you need more help.
