FPV Wing Builds (EPP 38"-48"-60") SweepWings

Hi guys,

I picked a name that will fit what I'm doing =) "SweepWings" I think it sounds good =)

(PM me for mor info rjclone@yahoo.com)

(38" Flinch) (Prototype) (is no more)
(New 37" Flinch) Done testing
SweepWings Flinch quick run (4 min 21 sec)

(48" Juggernaut) Done Testing
SweepWings Flown with dragon link (4 min 30 sec)

or if you have Facebook I post updates on my builds. Facebook/SweepWings

(new 60" Behemoth) Almost done, few testers out
SweepWings Behemoth FPV Wing (8 min 7 sec)

SweepWings Behemoth Hugging the ground (2 min 43 sec)

I wanted to post this for guys looking for a small wing platforms for FPV flights. The idea was to make a wing that can carry a HD video camera (Gopro) to record Vacations, day trips and spots that are hard to get to. I fell in love with wings due to the low down time on crashed and setups. I own alot of wings that i have bought from many vendors online and they seem to be missing some thing.....(ZII, Grim Reaper, Deep Reaper XL, Black knight) All good wings!! I am not downing the other wings at all. But for me, i wanted Payload, Agile, simple setup and tough....in HD =) It has taken me along time to get the prototypes done and to the point they are at now. So i'd like to share with everyone what I have done. Each Wing is HAND cut on a hot wire table that was made for me by a friend "Snipeworm" Big thanks to him. They are not 100% perfect, it's hard work to cut 1.3 and 1.9 EPP. As of right now im working on video of my flights today and kids are calling for me. So here are the pictures of what i have so far. =)

Thanks,
Ruben

I like both wings I was so surprised to see the wing "Flinch" carrying gopro on just a 2cell lipo very impressed.

I'm defiantly liking the wing "Juggernaut". Seems like it can carry more payload.

Got to wait for a calmer day so windy... Lol...

Looks good man, congrats! I love that you incorporated the original GoPro case in the design; it's already the best protection you can get for your expensive camera, so why not use it!?

I'm not even gonna ask how much you'll be selling these for... The last thing I need is another wing to carry my GoPro... ESPECIALLY a compact wing that I can easily fit in my car...............

From your pictures I'm guessing the Flinch will fit in a USPS Priority Mail Large Flat Rate box dim. 23-11/16" x 11-3/4" x 3". $17 for 2-3 day service anywhere in the USA. The Juggy might be a tight fit. Disassembled, of course (wing halves, center section, elevons).

I reeeeeeeeally shouldn't be asking, but what about selling just the cores and perhaps lam? Also, are the bays pre-cut as well? I have a 3530-1700KV motor and some servos looking for a new home...

Eh no worrys. Cores and lam maybe. The cores are never perfect due to them being cut by me.... A noob wing cutter. Lol.. i sand them into shape and make sure both sides are even. My arms get tired so alittle imperfetions are noticable. Maybe cores latter on when i get better. I need a better way to cut them.
Bays are not precut. I do all layout every time i make a wing. I need more help. Lol

The beauty of Flat Rate is if it fits, it ships! So as long as the Jug fits in the flat rate box, it doesn't cost any more to ship than the smaller Flinch kit. Shouldn't have to pad the box too much, you're shipping dense foam, that's what packing material itself is made from LOL

You still made copies of a wing design that belongs to a company. They closed shop and that gives you the right to copy? Not to mention the black beauty cut properly was 40.00. I sent Jeff and mwc the link. It's up to him now if he has any issues with this.
