Depron CRJ-200 Build

Hi guys,

Allow me to introduce myself; my name is Jim, and I plan on building a CRJ-200 RC model out of Depron foam. This model will feature card model techniques similar to those of neffwaffe and airbuzz. Also, this will be my first successful scratch-build so wish me luck!

*Unofficial dimensions:

Length - 46.1 in
Wingspan - 38.8 in
Target weight - 8-10 oz

Power will be two GWS 50mm EDFs. Not sure about batteries, ESCs, or servos yet. I'll have to think about this as I go.

Great start Jim. If you have any question do not hold back. Just ask away. You know there are very knowledgeable members here. I'm not one of them though lol.
Got my eye on this build. Good luck.

Thanks guys,

Alright, here are a couple pictures of the window template. I will cut them all out, and there's 26 total. I know they look a bit sloppy with the outer ink edge, but I'll take some time to sand them and make them look good.

Here's what is quite possibly the most tedious part of this entire plane right out of the chute! You can see the fuselage mid-section with the sheeting being applied, as well as the carved windows. Looks great and only took me about fifteen minutes. (the windows)

Ok guys,

Here's the main fuselage coming together, and wow she's going up fast!

The windows are very nice and neat. The only thing that is disappointing is that the pins created a bunch of tiny little holes. However, I plan on using Testors aerosol paint which I believe will help cover these holes. Other than that, this thing is coming along very nicely!
