Help finding IPS balsa WW1 monoplane

Looking for a laser cut balsa wood small park flyer. Maybe like a WW1 monoplane? Doesn't have to be WW1. Would like it to be a Monoplane with the wing low on the fuse. Something not to hard to build. Mainly flown foam planes.

Any ideas?

There was a duddle bug or something that looked cool. A fokker would be cool too.

Hanger 9 had a smallish balsa ARF Eindecker at one time. MUCH smaller then the Wattage brand kit. Not IPS but I bet it would fly on a brushless IPS motor.

Good Luck

I think the Wattage and the Hanger 9 rolled off the same production line. Both geared 280 powered. Wheels, spinner, and props were different.

I've got a Wattage NIB if you're intersted.

Tim

The wattage Kit was a speed 400. The hanger 9 had a little 3 blade prop on a 280ish motos. Hanger 9 had a much smaller wingspan.

Trust me I have 3 of the wattage kits, and 2 of the H9's.

Try www.aerodromerc.com. There are tons of great models available from the WWI and golden age era's.

Kurt has a IPS powered Fokker DVIII in developement right now. I think he said it would be ready by the end of the year.

I am building my third kit from him and they are great. He puts a lot of effort into scale details.

Oh man... the flying razor!!! Good show! I wonder if it would be 'scale" to my D Flight Tech DRI? Also IPS powered.

Thanks for the info.

How about a Peter Rake model? There's a current thread in the SCALE forum for his Eastbourne monoplane. One of the contributors to the thread is laser cutting Peter's planes now for release soon and he's in the US. Supposed to be pretty nicely priced too. I've never built one but I have followed many of the build threads and they all seem to be pretty simple to build and have just the right amount of scale detail.

Mike

PS- Nice Bugeye. Had a '59 for a while. Have a '67 1275 now.

Thanks for the tip on http://www.aerodromerc.com/ P-40. Their models look awesome!
Hey Carrera my dream car is a early 70's 911!
I have a 1960 bugeye with a 948. Looking to go up to a 1275.
Did a fun Rally in California this year. Over a thousand miles in three days going over twisty Northern CA roads and dirt roads.
Got a little loose on a switch back

Took three guys and two girls to get the car out of the ditch.

Wish it were a 4 cam--but I don't have an extra $150K for it. It is just a modified normal--now makes about 95 german horses.
