I was going to use a magnum 180, but decided to go gas, was afraid might be a little underpowered. Talked to a guy who flys his tele 150 with a saito 180,nitro said it flys GREAT. Im thinking I may buy a 45 and use that, haven't decided yet,
My 150 came in at 24 lbs 14 oz with 12 oz on the nose to balance. I used a Saito 180 for power and it will take off in 10 feet and land in 5 feet w/no wind. Very tame not a real fast flyer, kind of like watching an airliner go over. I've got about 20 + flights on mine and I like it more with each new flight

I've been keeping quiet, and I hope your plane is coming along or done. Mine has 20+ flights on it and I really like it. My fellow club members in Bloomington Indiana just land and watch when it lifts off for another flight.

I wanted something a little different on colors well this is it, should be able to see this thing several miles away. it has a new magnum 91 4 stroke on it.
Wow! That sure is nice looking! I should have had you cover mine!

Hello,
was wondering where you were for my build with your plans!! missed your input, I am about ready to put it together to do the balancing, We have family in Bloomington, and are up there several times a year and even on Monroe lake with our boat in the summer, I think we are coming up there in a couple weeks or so also. the plane has been a real pleasure to build, and as you stated a lot of balsa and balsa dust!!!! I sold my magnum 180 and put a turnigy 52, which is a bored out 45 cc engine. seems to run well. this is my first gasser. I haven't weighed mine yet, Im hopeing around 26-28. GREAT to hear from you!!
Thanks Keith

Telemaster 150

Thank you all for your input. My plane is done and it has 20+ flights on it so far. Majestic is the term to best describe it in the air. Other flyers have remarked it looks like a real plane going over. I don't do any aerobatics, it just looks soooo good doing a slow and low fly-by. If I can help you when you decide to build one of these it would be my pleasure, Hellcat113
