Supprised that such a nice performance of a standard size servo did not catch your eyes?

The performance similar to most of those $120~$200 servos, but GWS will them sold at

S03T-II Digital 2BBMG at $35.00

S03T-II 2BBMG at $30.00

Hope this will be a miracle for 2011.

Dear GWS4CEO,

I would like to build an hexapod robot using 18 servos.
My choice is to use 18 servo model: GWS S03T STD

I am just wondering if I should get the GWS S03T 2BB MG instead or if I could upgrade later, adding metal gear and ball bearing to my GWS S03T STD.

What do you think?

Thanks a lot for your help.

How heavy is that robot?

S03T in POM engineering plastic can hold up to 8Kg-cm, load more than 10Kg-cm will possible to damage the gears!

For heavy load users, metal gear version will be a better choice!

However, a standard POM gear set can be up grade with metal gears easily!

Thank you GWS4CEO for your answer

I'm still designing the robot therefore I'm not sure yet how heavy it is going to be. I'm trying to keep it as light weight as possible and I will perform a weight and force calculation before ordering the servos.

I have 2 more questions:

- Do you know if GWS S03T STD have ball bearings?

- Where can I purchase a metal gears set to upgrade the GWS S03T STD ?

Thanks for your time

GWS S03T 2BB have 2 ball bearings.

You may replace metal gears. But better to buy GWS S03T MG2BB
