I looked through your build thread, very nice! Welcome to RCGroups please post up some the photos here for others to see, they really are quite nice.
I like your motor addition and see the value in such applications, where flat field flying and no aerotowing exist, eventhough it might make the scale police purists cringe. I'm building an earlier ASK-13 in 1.6 and 2.0 meter sizes, practice for larger sailplane builds as these are my first. Embarking on a 4 meter Scheibe-Bergfalke Mü 13 E by fellow UK chap Chris Williams, laser cut short kit by official US distributor of Chris Williams kits http://www.marcslasershop.com/store here in Vermont, New England USA. Stuart, I think if you send a report to moderator they can sort the title from discussion to build thread. Cheers, happy holidays, Thompson |

I meant to also add, you are totally correct, for an indicated 9 lbs your ASK-18 looks to have wonderful wind penetration and flys light as a feather. I'm sure not fully intentional, however entertaining though, the ballooned landing is nice!
Stuart, I can supply you with a proper ASK-18 logo for creating your vinyl graphic. You can visit my http://kewlartdesigns.com store to see that I specialize in this. Please send me a PM and I'll get you sorted. Cheers, Thompson |
