Don't care about the religion part - just basically the teaching hate etc as 'right' to youngsters!

I'd have the same feelings if Christian religion teachings stressed the same...

I really hate to insult ANYONE's beleifs , but when those beleifs begin to produce people with their hands chopped off or 45 year old women hanged just because she wont kiss Allah's butt , that when religion has gone TOO far and needs to be eliminated . We should live by constitutional law only , and NO execptions . If people want to beleive in God , Allah , or little green men from mars thats fine with me - just so long as they do it in their oun house , and dont try to force it into mine .

Hopefully , as time goes on , people wont need ANY Gods to bow down to , and will come to realize the WE ARE the top species around here !!!!!

+1. Xtians aren't quite as proactively malicious as Muslims, but enough to be problematic. So are Jews. Without even quantifying Mormons or Scientologists. Even Buddhism was a spot of a bother, almost this time in 1941.

Then there's the Crusades, the Inquisition, and pedophile priests. Religion is definitely a plague. Except maybe Presbyterians, they never did anything bad to me.

No where near being a Muslim apologist, but I seem to remember a fella a few years back said the same thing about Jews...cost upwards of 30 million lives to stop him.

Umm, Japanese are Buddhist/Shinto. Remember Pearl Harbor? Might be thought of as what triggered the colonies to pitch in pulling your salty b-locks out of the fire. Neither of us were born then but we should both have at least a superficial knowledge of the extant dynamic, no?
