Motor Recommendations on 3kg quad for Endurance.

I am building a 650 size quad that will be approx. 3kg MAX AUW. I would like to know what some of you recommend as far as motor and prop choice for max flight time in easy forward flight. I have a couple motors in mind ( multistars or Tmotors), but I thought id check in here with others to get other ideas as far as choices and what worked for you. im sure someone here has some recommendations!

Thanks!

I'm sorry, you got an answer considering your multirotor was a hexa.
When I saw that this is a cuadra immediately delete it and for now I could give you another answer.

So manuel, do you have a proven recommendation considering its a quad, with a 3kg AUW. I am just looking for other options besides some of the ones i've been looking at. I ask here because this is a forum with vast experience in the matter and your opinions carry allot of weight.

Y have this numbers with HK 14x4.7 propeller to 175% thrust.

To 3s:
Kv= 581
110-129 g motor.
200 watts in for motor.

thanks for the input guys! One of the multistar motors I am looking at is located here. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...arehouse_.html

id like to run 15" cf props on this, but am open to extending the booms to run 17" props. What do you guys think of this motor?

From my research and the time spent with ecalc as well as pouring over specs from Sunny Sky and Cobra, I suspect the best choice, with the most likelyhood of acheiving your goal is going to be the Sunny Sky 3508 29 380kv spinning 15in props with 5S lipos (the 6S run a bit hot according to specs- I like to see the temps around 50 degrees c at max)

At 50% throttle you get around 600g of thrust pulling only 2 to 3 amps and 64w

Also- they are in stock... few folks will consider them as they are designed for the 5S and 6S lipos... but they appear to be quite the little torque monsters.
