You could try and see if a thrust augmenter will work. You are picking up the airflow right behind the impeller, maybe there's some pressure that can be traded for air volume.
[edit] This is what I mean:

it must be nice to have a 3 D printer and know how to use solid works

Don't worry about your English it is far better than any attempt that I would make at your language !!!!

It finally hit me as to how you are controlling the duct rotation --- very , very clever and simple ......
Great job ,,,, keep up the great work

The first and the last segments are linked to each other right? so that it only takes two servos to get the duct to rotate. It could be made to bend with a single servo, but then it would lose the option to control yaw in the hover

that' s right. i just need one sailwich to rotate the duct. and i used one servo for the yaw in a hover. 2 different pylons on the sailwins. one for the 90 degree turn and one pylons for 180 degree turn.

Joel, would you mind describing the mechanics of your swivel duct design? It's the only one I've seen that doesn't have servos inside the duct, which is very impressive.

That is very, very smooth and cool. I still wonder how you managed to get those large rings to slide on each other without jamming. I see you are still using straight duct sections, but since you seem to have plenty of power to spare then probably it's just fine, and maybe a bit easier to print. Nice view of the closed cable loop between the first and last section of the duct.
