Electric Brushless Motors
Can anyone tell me how to find out how to tell how many Poles a brushless electric motor has by just looking at it or is that possible???

Usually you rotate the shaft by hand and count the 'notches' as it passes the magnets.
If its to set the ESC timing, some inrunners have a low number, whereas most outrunners are a high number.
If you want more information on brushless motors, there is a very good forum here called Electric Motor Design and Construction
And welcome to RCGroups.
