Hi Frank,
it certainly looks a good model doesn't it, but no one has reported taking the plunge and buying one yet. Hard to imagine there are non being built by guys here because it looks both good value and good quality. I just can't afford one at the moment, maybe Christmas. More info in a short chat we had here.

It looks so good your comments on the kit and
name of a European suplier would be more than
welcome. Don't know about the recomended
power train though, like "Could do better"?

One of the guys in a glider club bought one and all I can say is wow. He used the Axi motor suggested and lipo battery packs. I hand lauched it for him a couple of times and again wow. He took it out at a gradual climb for about 60 ft and then went verticle for the rest. It moves out with great authority and goes for the clouds. Very impressive. If I ever win the lottery I'd buy one.

We have a few of the glider versions on my local slope and in that form it is certainly a winner. Scale like looks at a real good price.

Flight999 - Scorpio are Italian and are distributed here by Ripmax I think. I've seen them advertised in the UK press but can't remember exactly where.

Thanks Dave, I don't appear to have seen
an advert for the Scorpio stuff. Will have
to look harder and see if I can find the
stockists. Have not seen it in the Ripmax
catalogue. Perhaps I should change my
reading habits?

My only reservations to this model are :

1. No review by anyone here.

2. Lack of flaps for this size model.

OK. No review, we can (have) live with that.

Flaps? Something else. Needs a closer look I think.

Check this thread for some ideas on how to transform
this model into a FPV version.
