Wow! lots of great stuff going on here. Great pics and videos. Thanks guys!
All good except for Brad's two trips to GA

I finally got out to fly. Maidened my Mini Switch. It was very windy, I could tell she's a good flyer but a little tail heavy which is a shame because there is no wiggle room on the battery and the battery tray is so nice I don't want to mod it. I guess I will have to add weight to the nose. There were a lot of cross winds so to be safe I brought her down on the grass instead of the parking lot and the landing gear broke off. That's an additional problem since the LG is forward of the CG. I was going to leave the LG off and make it a belly lander because I usually fly in parks. Not sure now. I will either have to add that much more weight or put the LG back on and add a little weight. hmmmm.....
Also got to fly the Super Kinetic 815. She doesn't mind the wind so much but still have to be careful. After that I flew my Mini GeeBee 3D plane. Lots of fun fighting the wind with it
Sorry, no pics or vids. Camera man is now 14 years old and doesn't go with me anymore

I got up at 5:30 AM on Saturday to attend the yearly RC swap meet at the state fairgrounds. Payed 15 bucks for a table and went home with a little over $400 in my pocket. Sold a few of the UMX planes, a little quad, my HPI Savage XS and some electronics. It was a pretty good day. I was hoping to find an Ultra Stick 25E and there was one there but it was already loaded with electronics that I didn't want.

Sunday was chilly and breezy and I was tired so I stayed home.

GBLynden: this one's for you. Turns out, the camera did indeed get a bit of footage before calling it quits.

Polecat doing it's thing. In an insane sort of way. (1 min 13 sec)

Tried to get some of the Polecat with it's ferocious roll rate, but the camera died halfway through.

hey guys, sorry to be so intermittent, but my schedule is now really crazy

I now have a new LHS, so when looking for a prop for the CTBeaver I found a Yak. A UMX Yak. With a Yak size wing. I think this is the best UMX for 3D that Horizon has released. I think the prop is pitched too high, but I do not have 15 flights on it yet.

Here's video.

UMX Yak 54 11 12 13 computer (3 min 48 sec)
Computer level.

UMX Yak 54 11 12 13 phone (3 min 48 sec)
Large phone.

Nice video Sabin, do you have other hobbies for the winter? I started flying micro quads in my house during the winter.

Wish they had a foam version of that mini ultra stick

Does anyone actually have this plane? I have it all ready to go and I am curious to know if anyone has flown this particular plane. I hear that it is pretty difficult to fly but nobody has given any specific details on what about it is difficult. My only solid info is that the landing gear is a bit fragile. That tells me the difficulty is landing it perfectly but that's about all I know.
