UMX Sbach 342 3D BNF or UMX Yak 54 180 BNF

I found a place to get one of these two planes...

I want to start practicing 3d flight. I was set on the Yak... until I found out it was discontinued. Then found a place that has both. I kind of prefer the looks of the sbach but I knew that one was discontinued.

Which one flies better? Which one is easier to slow down?

From what I've read, between the two, the Yak is better but still hard to hover. For 3D, go with the TH planes.

cmdl is right. For learning 3D, don't get a UMX. Get a Twisted Hobbys plane, preferably a 32". IMO, the 32" MXS-C is the best flier.

Twisted Hobbys 32" MXS-C: Unnamed Huck (4 min 6 sec)

I have asked the same question to someone that can fly awesome 3D with both of them and he said there's not a noticable difference between the two UMX planes.

I 100% agree though: 32" MXS-C from Twisted Hobbys is the best plane for 3D. It can fly in a smaller space than the UMX planes and is 100 times tougher.
