Sumulator Transmitter

Can I use my TTX600 transmitter with the Clearview Flight Simulator? If so, what do I need to make the connection to the computer?

I use spektrum so I don't know if there is a cable you can buy I would guess there is, but I KNOW the wireless simbox hobbyking sells works with clearview, because I use it. You just need a receiver that works with your transmitter, you hook the simbox up to the receiver, and plug the USB cable into the computer. Works perfectly. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...r_Adapter.html

I didn't use a sim for YEARS after the day I dropped my optic 6 on the floor because I forgot it was plugged into the computer..... I got lucky and it was ok, but vowed never to connect my transmitter to a computer again... with the wireless option, I can use a sim again

hobbypartz and nitroplanes have a TX just for the simulator, they are only like $15. which is cheaper than the cable, get the 6 channel.

Sumulator... How can I resist? I gotta say something stupid, don't I?.... Restraint. Restraint. Take a deep breath. Whew! That was tough.

We now rejoin our regularly scheduled program.

Sumulator! Those keyboards are bad enough but try doing this stuff on a cell phone and you take your life in your own hands...... Gotta love it!

Do I get any points for avoiding cheesy jokes?

Not really an expert, especially when it comes to compatibility with the various dongle configurations. Unfamiliar with Clearview but I see that a couple of solutions have been presented.

Immel.... Clearview works with same USB cable as works with FMS and the like.
(for your diary )
The method using TX/RX into a USB interface sounds good though doesn't it.

RR, let's not go into this too deep, but sometimes the letter 'U' appears where you least expect it, like when referring to colours in the proper way

Hey, in the States we CARE about saving electrons, ink, toner, etc. We're saving the stinkin planet--don't rip us for it!

Save the endangered electrons, drop those "U's" and spell it our way!
