Tom's correct, again. Callie does the graphics on a repetitive scale,so once she spends the time, setting up,the effort is less.and volume helps reduce the price.
Once they're programmed,it's kinda 'point and shoot'.

I agree, if nothing else cut one of your kid's barbies in half and glue it in.

IMO,you'd be better off asking a Clipwing pilot if he has both sets, and I certainly will...
As an aside,at our Chili Fly-in,there was a Clipwing with doors on both sides..It seems that In Canada,at least for a time,Float planes were(are?)required to have two doors. Hmmmm...2 drs.,2 wings..very interesting!!!
Yea I have the 1/4 scale SIG clipped kit and also the full wing replacement parts
And was looking for a scheme that would let me interchange the wings, depending on the weather. Perhaps I'll just have to look out for some before and after photos and hope the fuselage stayed the same colour

If changing wings, I would think that the struts, jury struts, and maybe the strut mounts would need to be changed, too.

Seamus;unless you seriously need to do a Scale model with both wing sets,I'd suggest finding a sporty color you like on a full size Cub,that sets it apart.,and do both sets for that.
If anybody would know about full scale,I'd check with the EAA office at Oshkosh.
Apart from that,do your own thing...it's a great idea.

Skyline, Sorry there is not a kit or brand.........It is pretty much a scratch build. Build log below. Lots of pics there.

HK Piper J-3 Cub in strong winds

Hi all new to this thread and only own the Parkzone J-3 Cub myself but just getting into power planes. One of the reasons i have now got into glow/power planes is because my flying buddy has his own field and plenty of glow/gas power planes, plus! where we live, it's always windy! So here is a video of my mate flying his HK 26cc Piper J-3 Cub in a strong wind and after a couple of minutes doing scale flying, he thinks he is doing his IMAC and really puts the Cub through it's paces in this strong breeze. This model handles really well in the right hands and this video shows it off good

Hope everyone enjoys this great bit of footage

cheers chuck

PS please subscribe to my channel plenty more to come

@Supercubman: Trey, that is one fine looking Super Cub. I'm impressed! Tell us more about it. What size is it? Built from a kit? What engine?

Nice job, on the colors, graphics, and mostly the scale fidelity. You may have a sticker.

dgliderguy, Thanks for the kudos!! The Cub is a 1/4 scale with an AXI 4130, CC 75, on 5000mAh 6s. It is covered in white Coverite Fabric and trim is metallic blue. Check out the build log on it.
