At least you now have a feel for how it may fly after seeing my little one at the aerotow. I was pleasantly surprised by the thermal climb. Unusual with mine but then that really high sink rate caught me out again on landing. Kind of like dropping a sack of spuds. Lots of character though and it does handle and tow pretty well. Yours will only be better. Size will lift the efficiency a lot.

Onward, we want to see it in Blenheim in July!

Hi mintie this is a photo of mine its 1/5 scale only been up 1 time .
That was at the Tauranga tow meeting last year.

HI Smokin.....that is cool...now there are four T31,s that I know of.
At 1/5 it must be around the same size as Allans....How does your one fly?
Got any more pics of the plane? cheers

It was a hand full, it was windy a needed more nose weigth.
And you can imagine what I was saying.
Iwill take some photos and put them on for you.

Are you including my 1/5 scale "Beast" ?

Its getting stripped soon and some "diet' applied. Got to lose 2 1/2 lbs. The original builder likes his models to be STRONG, unfortunately that means heavy.

Looking forward to seeing the maiden video . . hint hint

There's one hanging in the RAF museum near London. I'm afraid I only have two (bad) pics of it.
If anybody's going there (entrance is free), bring a proper camera with a good flash. The lighting is terrible there; especially where the Kirby Cadet is...
