Very forgiving and I have had great luck with hovering it this year. Waterfalls right around the wing tube are awesome Love the walls as well. Inverted flat spins are a bit lacking on rotation and not as flat. I struggle with harriers on this still, but that's just me figuring it out on this bird. Landing in winds are a bit exciting that's for sure.

This plane rocks!!! I flew the Edge today and it's great, but my 57 is still my favorite

Still flying the MF 3620-750 and it's a great motor and light.

MIke - to get the inverted flat spins to bite a little harder try holding a little more left aileron and a little more throttle. I assume you're talking about doing this as a blender - if so then holding a bit more left aileron on entry will make it bite a little harder. You'll just need to give a little more throttle to keep it flat.

I'll give it a shot, thanks! Might be a few days as we have big storms running through.

Was going to get some video of me flying my extra yesterday. however the winds were just too high to fly as we have a front moving through. next weekend is looking like it might be good though. Might be too wet still.

Can somebody help me out and save me some time? Standoffs for the Motrofly 4315 motor, what length do I need? I'm just starting the build and I'll need to order some standoffs.

Actually, I have made quite a few stand-offs, but, sorry, I don't know that length as I never put one in a 57"..

I did some digging back in the thread, (I remembered I read something about stand offs) seems like they should be 0.5 inch.

I made mine out of a hardwood dowel. Works perfect. I do not remember what the size was though, but it is in this thread somewhere.

I noticed the motor screws are too short to install a 0.5" spacer. I'll need to find some new screws.

Pretty sure I used 1/2"... I just picked up some nylon spacers from Home Depot not to far from the cap screws you will need for the added reach. Easy one stop shop. Also lowes carries them

Callie Graphics made me a custom vinyl graphics set for 27 Bucks! It looks great! She does such good work and is ridiculously inexpensive. Just got the decals on the wing, lighting was a little off in my office.
