Hi, I have a question for anyone using a TBS battery bay. I read that the bay will fit up to nano-tech 3300mah batteries for 3s or 4s. Looking at the HK website I am seeing several 3300s and I am not sure which will fit.
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...Lipo_Pack.html 146x43x20mm http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...Lipo_Pack.html 133x44x21mm http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...Lipo_Pack.html 146x44x24mm http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...Lipo_Pack.html 133 x 44 x 24mm http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...mpatible_.html 135 x 21 x 44mm Can anyone confirm the inside dimensions of the TBS ZII batt bay? I *think* the length must be 150mm - 3mm -3mm = 144mm and I read a post somewhere saying you need 10mm for batt wires. So is 134mm the max length batt that will fit? Thanks! |

The tbs batt bay is a very tight fit and it forces you to shorten your battery lead wires to about an inch. I really hated having to do that. It is a great product, but very restricting and not the most useful for the price. I think it's better to make your own plywood box for a fraction of the cost and place the batts in the wing.
