Looking like snow flurries on Saturday. Afraid we are in for it this winter.

Roddie - you have to post some pictures to keep our spirits up ;-)

Rob, when I lived in Charlotte in the 70's snow was very rare, but if I remember correctly,
isn't Hendersonville farther west towards the mountains? Or am I thinking of Henderson?

It was 87 here Sunday but the temps are going to plunge into the upper 60's by Saturday.

Up to maybe 4 inches of snow in Frostburg this weekend. Not bad compared to the past three Halloweens (8 inches last year, 18 the year before, 10 the year before that)!

WOW That's a big difference when your on the other side of the mountains; we were 80 degrees two days ago.
Aaron the canoe may come up that way next summer to Deep Creek Lake; But I won't be leaving it at your house in Frostberg

Hendersonville is right near Asheville, NC. In the mountains. We had 75 degrees this weekend. We generally get only 1 good snow a year, but have had years with 4 or 5 good snows. Looks like a year like that this year.

And we are thinking of going towards the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area where they get lots of snow every year. Either there or the Kitty Hawk/Nags Head area. Higher in the mountains or beach. :-)
