By the time it hits the streets it will be 300 pages of pure speculation.

I can't imagine that has anything to do with the durafly p-40 thread fiasco.

If I were a plane producer I wouldn't show ANYTHING to this crowd until it was ready to go.

Surely that would result in less kick off sales where the competitors have got your money through one of there pre orders

I have come up with a way to reinforce the retracts on the 1400mm planes, if you want a set message me.

FMS V8 1450mm P-51 retract braces (12 min 56 sec)

I saw that all three annoncement threads on the Freewing Spitfire have been closed. Either Freewing didn't want an early "warning" of their new Spitfire, trying to avoid all -" when will it be out?" ......or it has been postponed.

I really would like a proper scale Spitfire. I have spare room in my hangar

This is from Motion RC

Unfortunately this was misinformation. The 1400mm P-40B is still in the design phase on the computer. The molds have not yet been made, It will be at least 2 months until the molds are made and then a minimum of a month of testing. Once testing is complete and we are all sure the plane is ready for customers, production will be 4 to 5 weeks and then delivery time will be 4 to 6 weeks depending on the health of the US ports at that point in time. At best we are 5 months away. I'd throw in a couple months for dalys and fixes so I'd guess this will make a nice Christmas present.

So that will mean that by that time it will have been at least two years since FMS released a plane. (I don't count the stupid 980mm ones.) Most companies would be no longer relevant if they did that.

Any word on the 1200mm P-51 that was supposed to be due out late Spring? I thought it looked pretty good.
