Why would need 5-6S in such a lightly built aircraft, you can rip the wing off with 4S as it is.

I guess because it's out there!
Our hobby can be far from practical

Personally , I can not afford to make big mistakes and make confeddy!

Pushing the limits is fun, but I would go to an airframe already built for high stress
Gs instead of torturing poor 25e. Have fun

Right! On 4s. I have to dial back my flying a bit.

Me too!
I have yet to do all the reinforcements found here in the thread.
MUS is getting banged around plenty and holding up fine!
25e is smooth , predictable and has such great ground handling it would be a shame
to screw that up.
Was thinking to add a .40, now prefer a 'back up' .25. Lov'n it

The airframe could handle the weight of the extra cells but it will reach a point where the speed tears it apart. They just didn't design it to go 90-100 mph and that's ok. It sure is fun doing it though. 5S on a slower motor would probably be ok if you already had those packs and didn't want to invest in new batteries.

If you had batteries already for 5s or 6s in the right size it is totally practical... Just tame the kV down for the same power you get on 4s if your worried about ripping the wings off. Then enjoy more efficient 6s power for longer flight times running on a smaller lighter ESC.

People thought I was impractical for running a 12s 71" slick, but it was totally practical for me... I already had the right packs. Now there are many 12s 30CC birds out there. Clean ridiculous power.
