E-Flite P-47 Prop recommendation?

What prop would you recommend for an E-Flite P-47 running an E-Flite Park 450 Outrunner?

Maybe a 10X8, if you go to the Horizon website, it lists the range of props to use for the each of their motors.

hmmm..... they do recommend the 10X8. That's what I've been using. Seems sluggish I noticed the motor mount stick was loose. I'll hit it with some Gorilla Glue, see if that helps.

How old are your packs? And...you ARE running 3s, right? The 450 should be fairly peppy on the Jug with a decent 3s pack and a 10x8.

Also, make sure your prop isn't on backwards.

BTW, yes, we're all jealous that you have an Eflite P-47. Happy now?

I think he said prop, not motor. I think he's got the motor already.

AirDevil, you may wanna try a different brand of prop? Say an APC over a Master Airscrew? APC also has "E" (for electric) and "SF" (for slow flyer).

Good luck.

I've always run the E-Flite 10x8 that came with it on mine. Granted, I had a Park 480-equivilant motor instead of a 450, but it was really zippy with that prop!

I had a 450 equivalent on mine and a 10x8 and it was quite fast. Now if you want silly fast then get yourself a 480 equiv.

Regards,
Alan

Thanks so much guys, all helpful information I think Smokescreen38 hit the nail on the head, I'm running some ancient Tanic packs and it's time for an upgrade. I'm thinking of going with Rhino 2150 3S1P 20C LiPo Pack.
Thanks again everyone!
