Great colours and nice for orientation.
Glad this thread has life and that Jepe will be selling more in the future.
Shame there aren't more HTG style foam jets coming.

I picked up one of the epoxy coated L-39's from Ralph at the Arizona Electric Festival. Some work had been started gluing the fuse halves together but they seemed to have forgotten some of the wood inserts (I know it wasn't Ralph) I have them all and for the most part can put them in the right places. I'll post some pics of the build the next day or so. Gonna fly on Wemotec Midi and SK3 1900kv inrunner on 6s. Electric retracts and real nice struts, not the stock ones.

The epoxy coating is not fun to work with when wanting to make small cuts, it wants to crack . I have paint pretty close to the colors already to fix all my little spots and make it look nice.

Lucky find!
You will love it. Try to join the inner tubular spars together as each wing panel has them. It has been a few years since we built ours so I can't remember if there is one or two in each panel. You will see little holes along their path where they were held when the foam was blown into the mold.

Thanks for the head's up. I have been working on each wing panel separately for servo and retract installation so have not gotten to putting them together

I have another one flying (chalmrast's old one) so have a pretty good guide for setup and construction.

Some of the foam was deformed from the epoxy coating and probably just being in storage. I've had to crack it a few places to make things line up and a few areas just cracked with minor contact. All fixable but adds time until I can fly it
