There was a bit of discussion about this few pages back. And according to our good friend "theKM", they were designed to be taped on, so that if there is any problem, you can just re-tape them..

I put 5 flights on this today in the bitter cold foggy weather (49°) almost lost orientations a couple times, I've come to conclude, bipes, quads and helis are not good in grey skys. Anyways I toned down my ailerons just a bit and all of a sudden, slow low HA rollers are a thing of beauty. Also picked up a used PA ultimate (sorry Steve) which I really like, but these are really two way different planes so no comparisons.

I haven't...still have to set up the throws and install some battery retention straps...Pretty darn so though if the weather cooperates...

I am down to completing the wing assembly. I just need to mount the aileron servos and do the wing linkages...Hope to do some flying over Christmas break.

Mine is in my hangar ready to fly, but the weather looks like crap for about a week...

Can someone who is using a motrofly motor give me the length of the spacers needed?

I'm thinking i need 17-18 millimeters....next problem is where to get some or what to make them from.

Ace hardware has a good selection. Although when I mounted a Hacker A40-12S in my 59 it was past closing. I went to my prop spacer drawer I found some that fit the motor mount screws perfect then got 16 of the same one and used 4 per screw. Working good so far. We all unless you toss them have gobs of these right?

I used the ones the plane comes with and they work fine.
