Rctimer legacy 3 axis gimbal...

Has anyone seen this gimbal on rctimer.com
Looks nice (then again all of them look pretty nice) and for $460 isn't a bad price.

This has caught my eye too. Especially the price. When my funds become more healthy I will definitely be getting one.

It will be interesting to see how much it weighs and how tall it is. The shipping weight is listed as 2.1kg for the aerial version, so maybe around 1300 without controller? Those motors are probably around 150-200g each and the box photo doesn't show much heavy packaging...

The hollow shafts look nice for keeping the wiring clean.

I have one of the motor 5208. And I got to say it big. I freak out when I open the box that they shipped in. I bought the motor to swap out the 3rd axis motor on their ASP 3axis gimbal that I got from them but it way too big and it won't fit

OT, but why do you want to replace the 3rd axis motor on the ASP? Not good enough?

Some info on the gimbal

I just received mine today. I ordered the aerial version with the alexmos BGC.
The gimbal is quite bulky. I think it would only fit well in giant multirotors. I havent assembled it yet, but i think the total height will be slightly more that 30cm. Maybe 35cm. I will later post info on the exact height and weight.

Please also post pictures of the alexmos boards they include. Does the 3rd axis board include the piggyback power module - how are you mounting the 3rd axis/connecting IMU?

thanks!

also, what motor is it supplied with? The stats seem to indicate the 5208 with only 75turns
