How to repair sticky carb
So tried taking the savage out yesterday to find its got a sticky carb throttle shaft. Something like that cuz the throttle doesn't go all the way in so stays 1/4 or more open all the time.
It's a savage 25 and has the 4.6 motor in it if it makes a difference. Let me know if you have any good walk throughs thanks.

If you disconnect the linkage from the throttle servo, does it close any more? The carb will have a limit screw that stops it from closing beyond a certain point. You can adjust it to set the idle speed. Don't touch that until you know that the carb is actually hitting that screw though, no point in messing up something that isn't needing to be touched.
