Where to buy Depron and gear wire

I am sure that I will hear that I must order Depron online from somewhere. Can someone post a link. I am interested beause I hate all the marking on the Blue fan fold.

Now for the gear wire. It seems like that is something that I should be able to find at a Home depot or something like that. So far I have not had any luck finding the wire that would work with the GWS wheels.

Thanks in advance

The landing gear wire should be available at almost any hobby store that sells R/C airplanes. Most stores have an assortment of tubes and wires in a display from K&S. A good old fashioned hardware store might also have the wire, but I wouldn't expect it at a home improvement store.

Craft stores might have the wire. I have been able to find some at Hobby Lobby or Micheals. The LHS has a better selection but a longer drive.

The foam in the center of Sturdy Board which you can buy at Wal Mart for $1.97 for a 20" x 30'" sheet is polystyrene foam which is what Depron is. You have to soak it to remove the paper but it comes off clean and leaves a very smooth surface. Much nicer than the fan fold. It's about 3/16" thick.

I will have to try the Walmart foam, I have search Both Home Depot and Micheals plus local train hobbie store for the gear wire. I guess that I am in for a drive to JCRC hobbies to see if they got wire... about 30 minutes bummer. One this is for sure if I have to drive I will buy triple what I need at a minimum.
