Way back when..
At our club meeting last night, we were discussing early ready-to-run model boats .One member was talking about his father's Triang model boat - called the 'Three' which he still has, although in bad condition. No one else had a clue about the other boats in the series.
Apparently this model was one of a series of pre-WW2 wooden boats - this one is 23" long - and is a sort of cabin cruiser with a vertical bow.
I've now found on a local site -http://www.vectis.co.uk/Page/Index.aspx a model 4 in the same series. has anyone any information about the series?
Maybe a discussion on early boats?

Sorry about that. I should have mentioned I got it from a Google search. I've now registered for future auctions and the, presumably later, model - a 4c is pictured here.
I do remember similar models as a young lad at our local park but didn't know at the time what they were.

A lot of hits on a Google search Tony:
Apparently Triang still make model boat toys today.
