Help!
How I can do lighter blades

Hello
Every time Im' making my own blades I face the problem of the CG which located
far above the center line between the motor axle and the stab.
This forse me(in order to have the "F"from the motor about "near" to the CG )to increase the down thrust a lot.
So Im' asking for ideas to help me making lighter blades than the clasic way we are making.
All cool ideas are acepted
Thanks in advance...
Fanis.

Fanis,
I struggled to understand, am I correct in thinking your CG is too high? if so why not add weight below it?

Regards

Rich

lighter blades

Hi Rich...
thanks for your response...
Yes, because the blades we are making are rather "heavy" I wand to know if there is another way of making our blades lighter.
I mean for example to use other materials or "building" in a way the blades...
Rich, the whole thing is about to have our CG lower near to the thrust line of the motor...(I think so)
You are a very experience builder and perhaps you can give me some ideas.
Thanks in advance.
yours Fanis.
ps. dear Rich I saw a very interesting video of yours (all your videos are ) with a pusher A/G named ARIAN 2-150 (if I remember correctly the No ).
Have you finished the project ? If it is so I wand to inform me how can I have (from you) the plans .
By my opinion it is a superb pusher.
Fanis.

lighter blades.

Thanks Joe ,Crish, YES this is what I had in my mind to do but first I wanded to know if somebody else has done something similar .
Both ideas are clever .
In this way the blades ,perhaps, does not need extra weight in the frond and they
would be much lighter which is a must to our flying machines.
I will try to do something similar and I will let you know
yours friendy Fanis.

ps . Joe thanks for the thread I will see it and I will come in touch with you...
