I seeeeee A STUKA in that picture

Tape sucks and it's not a requirement. I've built a couple with no tape. One I covered twice with solartex. It's the smoothest foamie I have. Two layers of solartex hides most of the EPP texture. Of course it's a pain to apply but I still think it's easier than applying tape. It is not as strong though, the strapping tape does make em stronger.

Glass it, heck if you take any longer to finish it you won't have to. The EPP will fossilize before your done. You've been working on that thing for like 6 months now. I must admit that it is the smoooothest finish I've ever seen on raw EPP. Love those fillets too.

Funny how raw EPP can hide the true lines of a plane...that STUKA looks a lot like a Mustang...but if it's STUKA I guess TFLG would know...
