Midwest's line of model boats may be gone, but the plans are still available from guys who have built the kits, and are willing to share.

That is all that is needed for most builders out there to make up a hull, or the entire thing, for that matter---.

yup, its a good kit. plans are detailed like you say. I have a few midwest kits that are going to be getting built in the near future. The reason I havent been modeling more is because of school and work, but I'm back at it!

Kyle...I havent forgotten about the Wilder. We had planned to leave here next Tuesday but the car is in the shop getting a new transmission and my wife has had some health issues pop up that the doc's are having trouble getting a handle on so we will be delayed going north a week or two. I sent mere (greg) a radio like yours. Your tour master looks great...keep plugging away....D

ok, hope you get everything straightened out and the trip north is smooth. Whenever you get to the wilder you get to it, I'm not in a rush. That will probably be the next project for me after I finish the tour master and the bass boat.

I hope so too, we will see. It is a while for me to head in that way. It would have to be when I'm in that way and can stop by to chat/check out the club. I hope the tour master is finished by the end of June. The bass boat should be finished in a few weeks!

let me know if you have questions, the part I dont like about these hulls is the vertical side planking, I think it is what caused flat spots in the hull, just takes filling an sanding to correct!

I think the dark green would be fitting and give her an elegant look.

we'll see! I primed the cabin and need to do very minor filler work, the hull will probably get primed this weekend. I finished up the deck and it looks sweet!
