Leadershobby 9 Channel 2.4Ghz Transmitter and Receiver FS-TH9X only $53.99

the leadershobby site, they have listed a new 9 Channel Transmitter and Receiver radio for only $53.99. It looks very interesting. may be they mark the wrong price, but I already buy 1....

That is the same as the Hobby King 9 channel and the Eurgle 9 channel and a Fly Sky 9 channel and several other names.
They happen to have a Flysky TX RF model and receiver, which may or may not be the compatible with the Hobby King receivers. But I think it is.
We have several threads going on here about the Hobby king and Eurgle TX's.

Seems like when you throw in shipping costs - you are better off with an Airtronics RDS8000 which go for around $105 shipped. DIY module - good to go...

Mine arrived this morning, complete with its' module and receiver.

Basic tests suggests that it's all good and functioning well.

All up inc del by EMS to the UK for 65ukp.

If all else fails (!!) it'll make a damn fine backup radio.

the Hobby city one doesn't include a TX and RX in the box, you have to get that separate, so if with shipping it comes out around $80, that isn't bad.
Plus you can always plug in a Assan TX module and use their RX's if you like too.

Hello, just to let people know that I have received my radio from leadershobby.

http://www.leadershobby.com/product....=9394001220239

It was well packed and actually was quite fast on shipping. I have not range check it yet but something that I have notice it does not come with a satellite receiver like on this picture:

http://www.megarc.com/images/photos/FS-TH9X_7.jpg

The receiver is a one piece with an hole to connect a satellite but no connector in it.

The throttle control does not has the "grade" or "level" lock... I don't know how to say that in english. On all the radio I had, there were some small level of throttle that could be kind of "locked" in place by this. Could someone please tell me what is it called in english?

Also, I have created my first model on the radio, which is a mode 2 "acro". After configuring all the settings and out of all the menus, the lcd still writes "mode 1" model with the model name I have specified. I think this is a bug since it is set to mode 2 in the menu and the throttle is on left hand.

Just got mine and it seems that they have caused some confusing by displaying "mode 1".
Looks like they shortened the word MODEL and made it MODE.
If you switch to model #5 you will see MODE 5 displayed.
Funny and inconvenient.

There is a fix - put in the Eraz custom firmware but you will need to do a "hardware" mod to permit this. Check out the other threads...

The same radio now costs $59.99.

Shiping costs about $20.

LOLs - Now LeaderHobby has carried the misinterpretation even further.
They are calling "throttle stick on the left" "MODEL 2" instead of mode 2.

Maybe they are trying to confuse old farts like me who may not know their MODE from their MODEL - lol
