I've been trying to get engine cowls for my GWS P-38, and I can't find them anywhere. I wrote to GWS USA and they said that they are no longer available. Does this mean that the P-38 has been discontinued? If so, then what else has been discontinued?

Funny you say that...I just took mine out of a five year "MOTHBALL" status...put a larger motor in it ( still about a 400 size) And it is back to being FUN to fly...but Mine is the older version..when they first came out...and the foam is VERY fragile...but I still love it...was my first FOAM paintjob too

If I get them, I can share with both of you. Already have two sets of P-38 cowls for personal use. At one time I stocked GWS kits and parts in good numbers. But since GWS is basically gone, I cannot justify buying much from them now.

I have not been able to log into the GWS Reseller system for 2 days now:
"The server at system.gwsus.com is taking too long to respond."

Have any other dealers had this issue? I'll be calling them later to see what's going on.

Dealers received an email from them apologizing for the troubles and letting us know that it would be back up "soon".
