An inexpensive, safe LiPo charging solution

I was looking for a “box” I could mount outside my house on the concrete garage wall to charge LiPos. It had to be small, easily accessible, weatherproof, and non-flammable. I decided on an electrical “load center”. It is all metal and the door opens and closes easily. I removed the front plate, stripped out everything inside, and covered the entire back surface with Velcro so I can easily change my charger and batteries. I even wired a weatherproof switch to it so I can shut down everything a simple click.

since heat and flame generally go up, a metal divider between the lipos and the charger might be a good idea!

LiPo smoke is highly corrosive. Everything in the box will be unusable if one LiPo explodes, even if not exposed to flames.
