servo question

when updating to a new transmitter and receiver(27mhz to 2.4ghz),do you have to change the servos as well? i flipped my fastech nitro a few weeks ago,and it ruined my receiver and servos.after looking at the servos that are included with 2.4 ghz systems they seem different than the 27 mhz ones.the reason why im asking is because i have an extra pair of Proboat servos that were from a 27mhz system and was thinking of installing them.the new receiver is a Spektrum MR200 and a DX2E transmitter.thanks.

thanks for clarifying.the reason why I asked is because when I looked for Proboat servos for the fastech brushless 2.4,they said they were "digital".but the 27mhz servos wernt labelled that.i guess im good to go then.thanks again.
