Hello everyone,

I have a Losi micro T that I played for a while then I stopped playing with it and it sat for some time. After some time i decided to play with it again, so I replaced the battery with a lipo battery and played with it some more. After playing with it for a while it stopped working. So now the Losi micro t no longer runs. Any ideas what might had happened?

Did you charge the battery after it stopped? The losi lipo has a built in cutoff so you can't over discharge the pack.

Which motor is better for a micro t that the reciever wire is ripped out of. See I already need a new reciever so should I get the atomic bb2 and stock reciever or a new 3 wire reciever brushless and transmitter

Well it depends if you want the brushless system. I am running my losi micro dt with a brushless conversion, and I love it. I would say brushless because the atomic bb2 motor has many problems with thermal shutdown. But it also depends on how much money you have because going brushless may be quite expensive but it is well worth.

If you go with all Losi parts you would be better off to just buy a brushless 1/24th scale SCT or Rally new instead.

Now if you want to modify some parts, you can do this for cheaper but it's not super straight forward and will take time to get it all together and working.

I would check to see which wire exactly came off your stock receiver board, and see if you can just solder it back on. Gets you back up and running for almost $0.

It was the wire that comes through the body I cant really solder it back because it broke where it came out from the cover that covers the board itself

So the 1/24 rally car motor or 10250 1/36 losi

If you take the top cover off (only a couple screws) you'll see the bare circuit board and it'll be pretty easy to solder it back on.

I did that and put a bigger wire on I am new to this website so don't really no what the stuff about the threads mean lol
