Independent Kit Manufacturers -or- Support the Local Guys

Fellas,

I was thinking we should have a thread devoted to smaller, independent kit manufacturers. The spirit of the tread isn't to oppose the import kits or planes from Asia, but to encourage forum members to support the little guys who are working their tails off to produce kits here in the US.

Please post anybody you can think of.

I'm new to the hobby so my initial contribution will be limited to the guys who made my first foamie kit.

Mods: If there is a better place for this thread, please move it. As stated above, the purpose of the thread is to list kit makers and not for any type of advertising that may be prohibited by the forum's rules. Hopefully we can get enough of a response to get this turned into a sticky.

So which country do you have in mind? Local to whom? This is an international forum so really should give fair play to all. As for a sticky...I hope not. Too many of those already.

Good point Lou!

By US (in the op) I meant the United States. I think you took the "Local" part too literally. Maybe I should have phrased that differently. I mean small business kit builders.

Actually, any locale would be great. I'd love to buy a kit from a small business in just about any country.

The quoted message is spam. It contains hidden GIF spam were I typed three dots. Copy/paste from a genuine message in this thread.

I have planes designed and/or sold by these two:
http://www.racores.com/
http://www.myrcdesigns.com/ and you can design your own here if you wish to.

I have made planes from plans copied from here:

These are not foamies but very good nevertheless:

What about these guys?

Here are the amphibians:

I have one of these:

They are in these forums and will come to the front now and then.
