New Product
New Wltoys V915 Lama scale helicopter

Current prices
At banggood
- $85.99 $81.69 with code bestbg
-And if in stock in their US warehouse $76.99 $70.83 with code BGW002

At tmart Red / Yellow / Blue - $85.89 or $81.60 with coupon code tmn5a
- also in their US warehouse at $76.97 or $73.12 with above code

Spare parts now listed
at Tmart
at Banggood

Looks interesting from a visual standpoint although it could do with out the word helicopter on it, more disappointingly it has the standard v912 brushed innards which is a shame.
Also a bit odd given the recent brushless releases you would also have expected this to be brushless, still the body could be useful for some mods with other birds if it is cheap enough on it's own.

And regardless of whether this is any good or not it is nice to see a new scale release

I'd buy a flybarless version with brushless motors. Otherwise, not interested.

That I would go for myself. Solo-pro is expensive and to be honest last heli I would buy. S/P parts break way to easy.

The V912 is a clone of Double horse 9116. 9116 is a clone of older Walkera 4ch heli. Walkera also had a heli in the scale body. so clone of a clones / clone. Price is low and it is scale looking. Bl upgrade would be a plus. FBL isn't going to happen. Frankecopter very possible.

I agree and yes Blue one looks the best. I am pretty sure Walkera was a 6 ch heli. The WL toys version has price and no other heli like it out there like it. bl version or upgrade would be pretty nice scale bird. Funny Walkera's V200DoQ2s did not fare well and they had serveral bodies styles. They were brushed also.

Yes Hobby grade parts are more because R&D was used to make the bird. Clones just a copy./ no building from bottom up. All the clones are just copies of what is already available. V977 is a copy of Mcp-x with a bl motor. Some Mcp-x's have had them for years.
No contest cheap floatsV915 even with bl main will still have tail motor issues. I hear they don't last long. Plus 9116 f/ bar.. old school.
