You know what amazed me about the maiden, besides the incredible sound of the passes, did you see how that thing lifted off after such a short takeoff roll? That thing looked like a 4lb Fly Fly foamie with 3kw pushing it around. 40lbs! are you kidding me?

What does the "scale speed" look like to you guys. 400mph - 450mph?, a little higher? Also, I tried to get a RC Speedo doppler on the two passes, with no luck. Those darn Stumax are impossible to doppler, too darn efficient. |
