You know what amazed me about the maiden, besides the incredible sound of the passes, did you see how that thing lifted off after such a short takeoff roll? That thing looked like a 4lb Fly Fly foamie with 3kw pushing it around. 40lbs! are you kidding me?

I did screw up on that maiden rotation a little as I would have bet I was going to have to give quite a bit of up to rotate it..I was wrong she poped right up. I was a little surprised and thought hmmm well that's interesting, backed off on the elevator stick and let her fly out streight ahead Prabbaly closer to 41 pounds. I added a third wing spar after the weigh in..

Congrats! Absolutely amazing flight, the speed, the sound, everything looked soooo scale. One of the most impressive things I've seen in RC in quite a while.

What does the "scale speed" look like to you guys. 400mph - 450mph?, a little higher? Also, I tried to get a RC Speedo doppler on the two passes, with no luck. Those darn Stumax are impossible to doppler, too darn efficient. |

No other words to say, other than AWESOME!!!!!!! The presence in the air and the sound are friggin amazing. If its underpowered, it'll do amazing in a scale contest, since you'll be completely scale. Two thumbs up........or one up,one down if you're a newfie. Hahahahaha.
